Thermofocus Infra-red Thermometers are available in three main models - each catering to a different requirement.
Thermofocus 0700 Series
Thermofocus 0700A2 is the most advanced thermometer a family can own to precisely measure body temperature. Thermofocus is totally hygienic, reading infra-red radiation naturally emitted by the surface of the skin, Thermofocus calculates the whole body temperature - all without ever touching the skin! Simply hold Thermofocus close to the centre of the forehead and release the activation button. It can also be used to take the temperatur of objects like a baby feeding bottle or bath water and has a memory function that allows the recall of the last 9 measurements.
Thermofocus 01500 Series
Thermofocus 01500A3 is designed for professional users or families that require more accuracy and flexiblity when monitoring temperature. Thermofocus 01500A3 guarantees the same perforamce as the 0700 model, with an additional 'Home' button which allows the user to easily and directly read the temperature of objects as well as other areas of the body (with a temperature range of 1 and 55 Celsius. The LCD display automatically shows room temperature when in stand-by mode.
Thermofocus 01500A/H1N1 is specifically manufactured for use in Hospitals, airports, schools, factories etc. in case of emergency or pandemic outbreak. Thermofocus 01500A/H1N1 is particularly quick, accurate and easy to use, allowing a fast and hygienic temperature reading. The 01500/H1N1 is provided with Manual Calibration for the utmost accuracy.
Thermofocus 0800 Series
Thermofocus 0800 Model is the Infrared non-contact Thermometer specifically designed for Hospital Use. Thermofocus 0800 features a back-lit display which stays illuminated for 2 seconds after every reading. The 'Lightbulb' button allows reactivation of the lit screen display when required. It is possible to disable the Thermofocus 0800 'Home' button for use when only monitoring body temperatures. The 0800 Thermofocus is perfect for use in hopsitals as with both automatic and manual calibration it allows doctors, nurses and hospital staff to take temperatures quickly whilst moving from room to room - for example in summer some rooms may be air conditioned and others may not, many thermometers require recalibration for use in different ambient temperatures - the 0800 can be calibrated in seconds.
Thermofocus are manufactured in sterile environments to maintain hygiene and accuracy. Thermofocus production, control and calibration are performed in a Class 100 Clean Room. Packaging is done in an Ambient Controlled Room. The quality of the product is further certified by external independent institutes.
